Jordan Nicole Wall is an actress and content creator with Down syndrome. This young talent is proving that life holds no limitations if you work hard and love what you do! Jordan is a Global Messenger for Special Olympics as well as a social media influencer whose content is loved by thousands of fans around the world. I was able to have an exclusive interview with Jordan about her latest project and her plans for the future.
Tell us about your latest project.
My most recent project was a commercial for a drinking fountain. I got to play a high school cheerleader. It was a lot of fun. I even got to cheer. Before that, my friends and I were in a short film for Easterseals Disability Film Challenge called “Bamboozled”.
What was your inspiration behind this film?
The short film was a romantic comedy. I had two “love interests” in it. One was played by Cole Sibus, who played my character’s “love interest” in the ABC series “Stumptown”. The other was played by my real-life boyfriend, Jared. It was easy to be inspired by them!
Tell us what it was like being in the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.
“Bamboozled” was the most fun I ever had on set because the set was my boyfriend’s house, and the cast was just me, my boyfriend, and two close friends. It didn’t feel like work at all. It was just like hanging out with friends.
Tell us about your work with the Special Olympics.
I am a Global Messenger. I attend fundraising events and tell people about the sports I have participated in and the friends I have met through the Special Olympics. I have gotten to do many fun things like lighting the Christmas tree and making it snow at the Grove, running with the torch with dozens of police officers through the streets of Los Angeles, and pulling a jet airplane tug-a-war style with a team.

What was your favorite memory from all the projects you’ve worked on so far?
I got to do a scene with my celebrity crush, Ben Plat, on the Netflix show, “The Politician”. He has been one of my favorite actors since “Pitch Perfect”.
Fun Question– If you could act with any actor in a film who would that be and why?
Dwayne The Rock Johnson! He is my favorite wrestler on WWE, and he is my favorite actor.
Do you have any new projects you can share?
I keep auditioning and waiting for the next project. In the meantime, I am always making content for social media. We are working on a few funny ones right now. My mom is writing another short film like “Bamboozled” for the same cast and crew. She is also writing a screenplay for me to star in, but it’s going to be a long time before we shoot that one.
